Coffeeton at Coffee Books and Vintage 2025

This year, the Coffeeton crew once again rocked the Coffee Books and Vintage expo. We teamed up as partners for the national SCA championships happening right there at the event.

🇨🇴 Colombia Day
Our booth was the hotspot for coffee people. Special guest Alres from 100 Años—one of Colombia’s top specialty coffee suppliers—handed out samples and chatted with everyone.

On Saturday we threw down Colombia Day with two cuppings (11:00 AM and 2:30 PM), tasting pre-samples from Wilton’s Granja Paraiso92 farm and some exclusive lots straight from Coffeeton’s stash.

💡 Eye-Opening Talks
At 1:00 PM, Andrés led a session in the lecture hall—complete with a translator and tons of insider insights. Then Darina Buts—our green coffee sourcer and buyer, dual Q-grader (Arabica & Robusta), national championship judge, and SCA event coordinator—dropped her talk “MetaHub: Brazil, the Birthplace of a New Coffee Dimension.” She shared highlights from her coffee expeditions—over 88,000 km covered in the first half of 2025 (yes, that’s two full circumnavigations! 🚀). Darina broke down what makes Brazilian coffee so unique, how local production shapes global prices (it’s not just climate), and the key growth vectors for the Brazilian market.

We also gave visitors a virtual tour of our office and the largest green-coffee warehouse in Western Europe. Super immersive, super realistic.

🏆 A Champion in Our Ranks
Huge shoutout to Aleksandr Fedorov, our Head of Quality Control, who snagged the national classic brewing title using Wilton’s coffee. That win means we’re headed to the World Championship in Panama! 🌍
