2. How we perceive taste and aroma
3. Basic tastes - hands-on exercises with different levels of bitterness, sourness, and sweetness
4. Coffee’s tactile characteristics - practical exercises
5. Roast defects - hands-on practice
6. Acids in coffee - practical exercises
7. Descriptive coffee evaluation - intensity of coffee attributes
8. Descriptive evaluation - working with CATA
9. Attribute assessment

❗️Reminder: After completing the course with a certified AST trainer, you can be eligible to take the exam in this discipline and earn your SCA certificate.
The only requirement is having a Sensory Intermediate certificate or significant experience working with coffee.
